Services provided under contract with this municipality are detailed below.

Flexible Plastic Packaging Collection

Flexible packaging is any plastic packaging that is able to flex or wrap such as plastic pouches, wraps, and bags.

Curbside Trash Collection

J.P. Mascaro & Sons works with both individuals and municipalities to provide safe, prompt and dependable service.

Pickup Schedule: Trash collection will occur one (1) time per week on Wednesday in 96 gallon wheeled cart. All waste containers must be placed at the curb no later than 6 a.m.

Limitations / Restrictions: Please leave 4 feet of space between the carts, trees, mailboxes, poles, etc. Trash and recycling are not to be placed out for collection earlier than 6:00 p.m. the evening before scheduled collection date.

Bulk Item Collection

Furniture, appliances, carpets, tree limbs larger than 3" in diameter but not longer than 36"

Pickup Schedule: Bulk items are collected once a month on the last collection day (Wednesday). This includes furniture, mattresses and box springs (must be wrapped in plastic) and other large household items.

Limitations / Restrictions: No tanks, tires, drums, automobile parts, riding mowers, or any item that contains fuel or fluids.

Other Notes: NOTE: Items containing Freon or CFCs must have freon or gas removed and be tagged by a professional removal service before disposal.

Single Stream Recycle

Plastic, clear glass, colored glass, aluminum, steel cans, aseptic cartons, cardboard and paper.

Pickup Schedule: Recycling Collection – Now Every Week! Recycling will be collected every week on Wednesday in 64 gallon wheeled carts with recycle symbol. Please place all clean recyclables loosely in the 64 gallon cart and place at the curb no later than 6 a.m.

Yard Waste

Leaves, sticks, branches, twigs no more than four feet in length and less than 4" diameter.



Holiday Service Exceptions:
Offices and operations are closed on Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Some of our municipal contracts specify other dates that we are not allowed to service, but our offices will be open. In most cases, if you receive twice a week service and one of the above holidays falls on a collection day, you will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day. If you receive once a week service, collection will be moved to the next day.
