Respect Program
J. P.
Mascaro & Sons is proud to present an educational program developed
specifically for children in elementary school. This program, simply called
RESPECT, has been created to educate students on the importance of respect and
why we need it in our lives. This was a value that our founder, J.P. Mascaro
Sr., instilled in his own children, Mascaro’s current leaders, and is the
foundation of what we do. Reaching over
50,000 students a year, The Respect Program incorporates valuable and significant
information with a fun, interactive presentation. With the help of our
environment loving mascot, Dumpo, children are taught the significance of
respecting others, themselves, and the environment. Geared toward students
in grades 3rd to 5th, The RESPECT program implements several educational
standards set by the State of Pennsylvania.
The Respect Program Education Grant is offered to give schools the opportunity to continue to implement educational activities that promote respect for people, property and the environment. The Respect Program Education Grant will challenge teachers to creatively implement an activity or program that emphasizes respect and will help to provide teachers with the necessary resources for implementation.
