MASCARO WINS $1,000,000 CONTRACT TO ACCEPT, PROCESS, AND MARKET RECYCLABLE MATERIAL FROM PALMER TOWNSHIP, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY

Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was recently awarded a five-year, $1 million contract for accepting, processing and marketing of recyclable materials from Palmer Township, Northampton County. The contract will take effect on May 1, 2026, and Palmer Township will arrange for the delivery of its residential single-stream recyclables to Mascaro’s Lehigh Valley Recycling facility in Coplay, Lehigh County, for ultimate delivery to Mascaro’s TotalRecycle facility in Birdsboro.  TotalRecycle is a state-of-the-art single-stream materials recovery facility, which began operations in 2016. Sam Augustine, Director of Sales and Marketing for Mascaro, said, “Our TotalRecycle facility is one of the best single-stream materials recovery facilities in the country and is a primary reason why our company is recognized as a leader in the recycling industry.”
