Michael Mascaro, Vice President of Operations, for the company indicated the company had an assortment of collection vehicles which include rear end loaders, front end loaders, roll off vehicles and transfer vehicles on order. The units total 50 and will be utilized on new contracts secured by the company as well as bolstering the overall fleet of 500 pieces of equipment utilized by the privately owned and operated company.
Mascaro indicated that timely equipment supply issues and the need for spare equipment to assure continuous and effective collection services warranted the acquisition of new vehicles. Our company was built on the motto of my grandfather, J. P. Mascaro Sr., “If It’s Service, It’s Us”. It is incumbent on our company to deliver the necessary services to our customers regardless of the realities of a difficult market situation related to securing vehicles and parts.
The pandemic forced our company to refocus on many key issues of our business including our collection vehicles. We need to be sensitive to the overall condition of our fleet and its daily capabilities to meet our primary objective of providing the highest level of services available in the waste industry.
The company has been in existence for over 60 years, and it is guided today by a group of third generation Mascaro’s.
