Q: How do I dispose of large items?
A: One large (bulk) item is included with service in most areas. Please call your local service division to let them know that the item will be out in order to ensure that the item you are disposing of is acceptable waste. It may be necessary to send a separate truck. You should also call your local service division if you want to schedule, for an additional fee, the collection of several items at once. If you are disposing of any appliance containing Freon, the Freon MUST be removed first and have a tag attached certifying the removal. Our drivers are not legally allowed pick up any Freon-containing appliance that does not have this certification.
Q: How do I dispose of or recycle ashes?
A: Caution must be taken with the increased use of outdoor fireplaces and alternative heating methods (pellet stoves, corn burners, etc.). Piles of ashes and careless or improper disposal of leftover ashes and piles can hold enough heat to reignite and start a fire, even after several days. Q: How do I start or cancel service?
A: To start, or cancel, residential subscription service, please call our corporate offices at 888-627-2276, or you can call your local service division. Residents who live in an area where we have a municipal contract cannot simply cancel service. If the resident is moving, a trash certification is required for settlement. The request form for this certification can be found on our website and the certification should be requested by the seller’s agent. New residents in the areas where we have municipal contracts will have accounts set up based on the information we receive through either a trash certification or from the township. Accounts are started based on the date of settlement.
Q: What are my collection days and times?
A: If you are unsure of your service day, please call your local service division. Collections start as early as 6:00 am - we recommend placing trash and recycling at the curb the evening before your scheduled pick-up.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: You may pay by check or money order through the mail or in person at your local service division. Cash payments can also be made at the service division. Payment may be made by credit or debit card by calling 888-627-2276 or on our website.
Q: What days are considered holidays and how is my service affected?
A: Offices and operations are closed on: Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Some of our municipal contracts specify other dates that we are not permitted to service, but our offices will be open. In most cases, if you receive twice a week service and one of the above holidays falls on a collection day, you will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day. If you receive once a week service, collection will be moved to the following day.
Q: What days are Spring clean up in Exeter Township?
A: April 26 and May 3, 2014. As part of the Host Community Agreement between Exeter Township and the Pioneer Crossing Landfill, local waste company J. P. Mascaro & Sons will conduct a Township-wide spring clean-up for Exeter Township residents. Half the Township will receive this community service on Saturday, April 26, the second half on Saturday, May 3, 2014. This community clean-up day is not for normal household trash. That trash is collected weekly by the residents’ trash hauler. This service is for clean-up items that are not included in normal weekly trash collection such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water heaters, stoves, and for large household items such as sofas, chairs, tables, bureaus, beds, and other bulky items. >> Click Here to Learn More

A: We reserve the right to suspend service on any day that we consider unsafe. Normal holiday schedules will apply. No adjustments will be made to bills for missed pick-ups due to weather related service issues.
