Services provided under contract with this municipality are detailed below.

Curbside Trash Collection

J.P. Mascaro & Sons works with both individuals and municipalities to provide safe, prompt and dependable service.

Pickup Schedule: Wednesday

Limitations / Restrictions: 12 bags and/or cans

Dump Site: Wheelabrator

Bulk Item Collection

Furniture, appliances, carpets, tree limbs larger than 3" in diameter but not longer than 36"

Pickup Schedule: Wednesday

Limitations / Restrictions: Special Collection (additional fee) Large Bulk Items/Freon Appliances Collection Larger items and appliances that contain freon should be scheduled for special collection. Items include, piano, household furnace.

Other Notes: Appliances containing Freon or CFCs such as refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers and air conditioners and other cooling units require advanced notification before removal. To schedule a special collection you must call 1-800-432-1616.

Single Stream Recycle

Plastic, clear glass, colored glass, aluminum, steel cans, aseptic cartons, cardboard and paper.

Pickup Schedule: Wednesday

Dump Site: Otters

Yard Waste

Leaves, sticks, branches, twigs no more than four feet in length and less than 4" diameter.

Pickup Schedule: Thursdays

Limitations / Restrictions: Loose material in recycle bags or cans without plastic bags, branches less than 3" cut to 3' and tied or loose in cans, no limit. Branches greater that 3" cut to 3' and tied go on second pick up as bulk.

Dump Site: Tullytown

Other Notes: Separate pick up April 1 - Dec. 15 Dec. 16 - Mar. 31: 5 bags or cans with trash



Holiday Service Exceptions:
Offices and operations are closed on Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Some of our municipal contracts specify other dates that we are not allowed to service, but our offices will be open. In most cases, if you receive twice a week service and one of the above holidays falls on a collection day, you will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day. If you receive once a week service, collection will be moved to the next day.
