Local solid waste and recycling company, J.P. Mascaro & Sons has been awarded a 2-year, 8-month with the option to extend an additional two years, contract to serve 8,200 households of Exeter Township, Berks County. The new contract starts May 1, 2021 and covers collection of single stream recyclables for all residents on a weekly basis. In a separate contract Exeter Township’s recyclables collected are processed by TotalRecycle, Mascaro’s new state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility. The Mascaro owned facility has processed over 1 billion pounds of recyclable material since it opened in February 2016.
