Ridley Park Borough council
awarded local solid waste hauling company J.P. Mascaro & Sons it’s
comprehensive waste collection contract valued at $810,000.
The contract encompasses once a week collection for trash removal, recycling
and specific yard waste collection dates. The contract term will be a minimum
of 2 years, with the option of a third year.
J. P. Mascaro & Sons is a local company
founded and headquartered in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, and
is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. J.P. Mascaro
& Sons, local Bridgeport Division will service the Warminster Township
residents.
The company was
founded by Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr. and is operated by his five sons. The Mascaro
Company possesses a strategic infrastructure of recycling, transfer, compost
