Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was awarded a 3-year with two one-year options for waste and recycling collection contract valued at $6.3 million to provide twice-a-per week trash and once-a-week recyclables collection service for residents in the Borough of Catasauqua, Lehigh County. The contract will take effect on August 1, 2024, and Mascaro will service the Catasauqua Borough contract out of its Lehigh Valley Division, located in Allentown, which has an infrastructure of 75 collection vehicles and 100 employees that serves numerous municipalities, institutions, commercial and industrial customers in the greater Lehigh Valley.
