Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was awarded a 5-year waste and recycling collection contract valued at $4.8 million to provide twice a per week trash and once a week recyclables collection service for residents in the Borough of Coopersburg, Lehigh County. The contract will take effect on March 1, 2023 and Mascaro will service the Coopersburg contract out of its Lehigh Valley Division, located in Allentown, which has an infrastructure of 75 collection vehicles and 100 employees that serves numerous municipalities, institutions, commercial and industrial customers in the greater Lehigh Valley area.
