The success of local waste company J. P. Mascaro & Sons in winning competitively bid municipal contracts continues. In the last quarter of 2018, Mascaro was awarded $42 million in municipal trash collection and recycling contracts that will be performed by various Mascaro Divisions.
Mascaro received 11 newly-awarded long-term contracts from the City of Nanticoke, from Warminster, Maidencreek, Newton, South Abington and Newtown Townships, from the Boroughs of Avoca, Larksville, Laflin, and Nazareth, and from the community of Indian Mountain Lake. Under these contracts, Mascaro is responsible for the collection and disposal of residential waste and for the collection and processing of residential recyclables.
