Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was recently awarded a three-year
$2.4 million contract to provide once per week recycling and waste collection services for
residents in the Borough of Emmaus, Lehigh County. The contract will take effect on January 1,
2015, and Mascaro will service the Emmaus contract out of its Lehigh Valley Division, located
in Allentown, which has an infrastructure of 75 collection vehicles and 100 employees that
serves numerous municipalities, institutions, commercial and industrial customers in the greater
Lehigh Valley area.
