M.B. Investments, an affiliate of J. P. Mascaro & Sons, has bolstered its extensive land holdings in Exeter Township. A spokesman for M.B. indicated the partnership has acquired 194 additional acres representing 28 separate land deeds. The properties are zoned either Highway Commercial-Flex Industrial or Light Industrial.
Exeter Township is a major part of the Mascaro infrastructure, where it operates its regional landfill, the Pioneer Crossing site, as well as TotalRecycle, one of the premier Material Recovery Facilities in the country, and a major transportation terminal where Mascaro serves major municipalities in the region and a significant amount of industrial and commercial customers.
Pat Mascaro, Managing Partner of M.B. and President of J. P. Mascaro & Sons, indicated, "Our family is committed to Exeter Township for the long-term, and the purchases compliment the existing holdings with the community. Exeter Township is an important municipality in Berks county, as it is strategically situated, and it is equally important to our family business where we have a successful long-term mutually beneficial relationship."
The price of the acquisitions was not disclosed.
