NORRISTOWN CELEBRATES COLUMBUS DAY WITH CEREMONY AT COLUMBUS MONUMEMT

A Columbus Day celebration was held Wednesday morning at the Columbus Monument on Harding Boulevard.

Several dignitaries from around the county attended the event, which was sponsored by J.P. Mascaro & Sons and Elmwood Park Zoo. State Rep. Matt Bradford, Montgomery County Sheriff Sean Kilkenney and Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale were in attendance along with Norristown Ambassador Frank “Hank Cisco” Ciaccio. Tony Leodora was the Keynote Speaker and John Doyle of the Norristown Area School District filmed the event.
