The nice weather Saturday afternoon contributed to a special opening day for Pop
Warner Methacton Warriors youth football and cheerleading association at Eagleville
Park, located in Lower Providence Township. During the ceremony, Tom Leahan,
Methacton Warriors board president, recognized donations made by J.P. Mascaro &
Sons, who contributed $10,000 for the Association’s new score board.
J.P. Mascaro & Sons was founded, and is headquartered in, Lower Providence
Township and was honored to support this local organization that benefits youth players
in their home community. The brand-new score board was installed just in time for the
Methacton Warrior’s first game, and home game, of the season on August 25th. The
matches will be played against longtime rival the Lower Perk Longhorns.
Speaking about the new scoreboard, Lindsay Mascaro, Company Director of
Community Relations, said “We are happy to support the Pop-Warner Youth Football 2
and Cheerleading league. Lower Providence is where we began and many of our
family members and employees live in the community.”
Mascaro’s efforts in the funding of this scoreboard are another example of the
company’s ongoing commitment to the community and to worthwhile programs,
organizations and causes. For more information about J.P. Mascaro & Sons, visit its
