Concluding a successful bidding season in which it has already been awarded over $60 million of competitively bid municipal contracts, local waste service company, J. P. Mascaro & Sons, was recently awarded three more governmental contracts valued at $2.7 million.
The first contract is a thee-year contract with Pittston Township in Luzerne County, Pennsylvanaia, for residential waste collection, recycling and disposal services. The other two contracts are in New Jersey. One is with Milford Borough and the other is with Bernards Township. Both are bio-solids management contracts with Mascaro being responsible for the collection, transportation and disposal of sludge from municipal waste water treatment plants.
