J.P. Mascaro & Sons, a local solid waste company, was awarded a new contract to haul and dispose of incinerator ash. The Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority granted a three-year contract, which will be serviced by J.P. Mascaro’s Souderton Division.
J.P. Mascaro & Sons is a local company based in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and it is the largest privately owned solid waste company in Northeast Pennsylvania. Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr. founded the company and is operated by his five sons. Today, the company benefits from the involvement of a third generation of family members who are poised to guide it into the future.
Company president Pasquale Mascaro stated, “Our company has developed a strategic infrastructure that includes transfer, recycling, composting, and disposal facilities in the region. This has positioned us as a major provider of services, such as those we will be offering to the Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority.”
