Dear Valued Employees
March 20, 2020

Dear Valued Employees,

I want to reaffirm how important your work is to the community-at-large. Proper sanitation is the foundation of a strong and vibrant society. The work you do is extremely important to the well-being, health and safety of all within our various communities.
Sanitation is an essential service, and this reality mandates that our business be open and operating each day during this difficult health situation we are all being confronted with. Because we are an essential service, it is critical that we all work together to meet the commitments we have made to the communities and customers we serve.

In that regard, it is important that our employees attend work as scheduled, while at the same time following the safety and social distancing precautions that have already been conveyed to you. Unnecessarily missing your scheduled work places additional stress on your co-workers and jeopardizes our ability to meet our essential sanitation commitments.

I have told you many times with great pride that our operational teams are the face of J. P. Mascaro & Sons in the eyes of the public. You enjoy an excellent reputation within the industry and it is well-deserved. Presently, we face tough times, but as the saying goes, “The tough get tougher during difficult times,” and I know you will meet the challenge ahead of us.

Our family has great respect for you and your daily efforts on behalf of the company. I respectfully ask that we work together during these difficult times and understand the important role we play each and every day serving the community-at-large.

Sincerely,

Pasquale N. Mascaro, Sr. President
